During this internship I worked on a project to make the negative influences of social media clear to young people through a playful mobile game. The project was called Social Media Magnaat. My work consisted of:

• Presenting the changelog to the client TMI Academy.

• Solving bugs and improving the performance of the game.

• Conducting playtests with the target group and collecting feedback.

• Contributing to the in-game user/profit algorithm.

• Adding features, such as: in-game content creation tool, infinite scroll, tag system, audio manager.

• Creating a user guide for the in editor content creation tool.

During this internship I worked on multiple projects:

De Sleutel tot Herstel: A virtual escape room / a multiplayer point and click adventure, which challenges the ‘ggz’ employees to think about the basis and application of their daily work within mental health care.

• Creating the room system and making the tool user friendly for the artists.

• Creating the camera controller.

• Creating a drag and drop puzzle mini-game.

• Documenting the pros and cons of different multiplayer plugins.

Everlake: In Everlake players create their own character/avatar that they can style and dress up as they like. The world also consists of different world parts where players have their own virtual home, as well as public places such as parks, where people can meet each other.

• Bug fixes.

• UI programming and implementation.

• Creating the login and account creation screen.

• Creating 3 Camera controller types: In rooms, Character customization, in hub worlds.

Rezone: Rezone is an urban management game about vacancy. The physical model includes six city districts, each with a central key building and surrounding buildings in different colors. Four of these key buildings must be completely renovated if the 4 players want to win the game..

• Bug fixes and code refactoring.

• AR programming and implementing.

• Calculating the camera position of the image tracker to the in-game grid space.
